Aida is a quantum physicist with expertise at the intersection of quantum optimization and deep learning, and is the recipient of a Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada postdoctoral fellowship in physics. She is one of two physicists at the Perimeter Institute who is excelling in her role as a technical CEO and founder of a quantum software start-up. She pivoted ForeQast toward a new direction as of 2022, and has scaled her company through predominantly non-dilutive funding.
