Alexandra Boussommier

Alexandra is a biomedical engineer, trained in Switzerland, UK and US. Her PhD and Postdoc revolved around tissue & cell culture as well as microscopy. As a researcher, Alexandra has spent significant time cultivating and imaging tissues and cells, feeling like these images had much more to say that we thought, but lacking the tools to give them a voice. Realising that IVF was a key and growing application of cell culture, it became obvious that it was similarly in dire need of tools to optimize decision making, with one key end-goal: increase quality control.
