Christopher Tan

Christopher Tan is a first-class honours Master’s graduate from the UCL Statistical Machine Learning group, and wrote his thesis in Language-based Reinforcement Learning under the supervision of Prof. Marc Deisenroth (DeepMind Chair of Machine Learning) and Eric Jang, Senior Research Scientist at Google Brain, where he developed a novel Meta RL framework to enable an ‘AI Scientist’ to perform primitive Scientific Process in new environments.

Christopher has also previously co-published and worked closely with the NHS research arm at GOSH Digital Research Environment to develop real-world ML solutions for the NHS.
