LinkedInJamie is an entrepreneur, investor, advisor and writer. She has spent the last two decades creating technology and media to dispell the myth of “us and them.” In 2010, Jamie founded Vayable, an earlier pioneer of unique, authentic experiences in travel, where she was CEO for 7 years. She was a founding partner at Narrative Fund, an early-stage tech investment firm. She also founded Project Empathy, a virtual reality series and social justice initiative to help the prison population. She also founded and ran Paramita, an online platform for meditation courses in Spanish. As a founder, Jamie was backed by top Silicon Valley investors including Y-Combinator, Learn Capital, Y Ventures, Resolute VC, Google and others and built partnerships with some of the world’s largest technology, travel and media companies. Prior to starting her own company Jamie produced for for Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Sundance Channel, Ark Media and Michael Moore. She received a masters of science from Columbia Journalism School.
Jamie has been named a Forbes Up and Comer and Business Insider’s top founders to watch and Huffington Posts top 50 nontechnical founders.
