London 9Jiameng Gao is the CTO at Papercup, where he is responsible for the research and development of the machine learning and speech processing systems that power the Papercup translation system. Previously, he joined Calipsa – a computer vision startup working on industrial security – as their first engineer.
Jiameng holds a Master’s in Machine Learning, Speech and Language Technology as well a Masters of Engineering, both from the University of Cambridge, where his theses focused on neural machine translation and speaker adaptive speech processing.
