Following a conventional career path was never an option for Kush. He left behind a career as a high flying derivatives trader to enter the world of AI after teaching himself to code.

Rather than continuing his academic journey with a PhD after completing his Masters, he decided to get hands-on experience in applied AI. So he spent 2 years as a researcher at Tractable, where he honed his skills in developing world-class Machine Learning products and teams. This experience proved to be the ideal foundation for joining EF and realising his ambition to revolutionise age-old industries using AI.

He holds an MA in Mathematics (University of Cambridge) and MSc in Machine Learning (UCL), where his dissertation was on graph-based recommender systems.
