Matthew Bond

Matthew started his entrepreneurial journey age 16, building an e-commerce business which served 8k customers over 2 years. While studying Maths at Oxford, he founded a printing business, growing it to ~£100k MRR. Post university, he was a quant trader and data scientist for Citadel & UBS, learning ML on the side.

Feeling the entrepreneurial itch, he relocated to California (MBA, UC Berkeley), where he launched a student-led VC fund back by the UC Endowment fund. He was the first Product hire at a Series A startup and later joined a pre-IPO AI-SaaS company, before relocating back to London to join EF.
