Miena is a former Merck strategy lead & global portfolio manager, a physician by training and second-time founder.

Starting her professional career as a project manager in the CEO Office at Merck, she supported and led strategic projects on behalf of the Executive Board. In her following role, she took over responsibility for strategic projects in Merck’s largest therapeutic area and led a complex global product portfolio. In this role, she developed the portfolio strategy and built a cross-functional leadership team to run divestment and optimization analyses for the company.

Miena holds a PhD in medical psychology on cognitive impairment in breast cancer. As a medical student, she gained work experience in hospitals in London, Dubai, and Hamburg. In parallel, she founded a corporate events company that she made profitable in just three months.
