EF is a community of outliers who are navigating the same journey to discover what they want to build and why.
The Fellowship
A $10K grant to explore, experiment, and find your path.
The Fellowship is designed for exceptional individuals who are early in their company building journey. You may not be ready to commit full-time yet, but you want to immerse yourself in a high ambition founder community. The program gives you the time, space, and support to explore and test ideas, as well as to meet potential cofounders, before deciding whether / what to build.
Fellows live alongside a curated group of founders, receiving:
- A $10K equity-free grant
- Three months of housing in San Francisco alongside other founders
- Access to EF’s founder community and workspace
- Dedicated 1:1 coaching and support
- Guidance from EF partners, advisors, and mentors
The structure is intentionally flexible depending on your goals. Your three months might look like:
- Exploring starting points and ideas
- Meeting and evaluating potential cofounders
- Testing ideas and cofounders rapidly to see what resonates
- Working out what your life’s mission is – getting a deeper understanding of what you want to spend the next decade building
Whatever path you choose, EF works with you to build the company you want to start and the future you believe should exist.
A Pathway to Build Further
Throughout the residency, you will clarify your strengths, refine your direction, and build conviction. When the moment is right, you have the option to pitch for:
- EF’s full $250K investment
- Continued company-building support
- An exclusive Demo Day to pitch to top-tier U.S. investors
What matters is developing a foundation you believe in.

We accept applications on a rolling basis and review each submission carefully. If you do not hear from us, it means we are passing for now and we are not able to provide individual feedback. If we do reach out, you will take part in interviews with our U.S. team, advisors, alumni, and leadership to determine fit and the right pathway for you.
