Terms & Conditions
This competition is run by Entrepreneur First Operations Ltd (EFOL) (‘the promoter’) whose registered office is Shoreditch Exchange, Senna Building, Gorsuch Place, London, E2 8JF, UK.
These Terms and Conditions are in addition to our privacy policy, found here, which governs how we may use the data we collect from you. The data will be retained for the period of the competition only and will not be distributed to any third party or used for any other purpose than the described competition.
To enter this competition you must:
- Be resident in the United Kingdom;
- Be aged 18 years or over;
- Not be an employee, agent or associated person of EFOL, EFIM or Bloomsbury Publishing PLC, and their close affiliates and anyone otherwise connected with the organisations or judging the competition; and
- Be able to comply with all the terms and conditions.
Entries must be received by the closing date of GMT 11.59pm on Monday 22 January. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
There is no entry fee and no purchase necessary to enter this competition.

The competition prize is one paperback copy of “How to be a Founder” by Alice Bentinck and Matt Clifford. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable and subject to availability.
Winners will be chosen on Tuesday 23 January by reviewing the time and date entries at which the first ten entrants completed the quiz.
Winners will be notified by email within 1 business day of the closing date. The winner will only ever be contacted by Entrepreneur First. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 7 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
We accept no responsibility for entries that are lost or which we do not receive however caused, including due to technical errors. Proof of entry is not deemed as proof of receipt by us.
The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:
- Complete the puzzle via the link provided
- If you are among the first ten to complete the puzzle, we will send you a free copy of ‘How to be a Founder’ in paperback.
- You will be contacted via email to claim delivery of the prize.
We reserve the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice and in any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of our control. We endeavor to notify entrants of any changes to the competition as soon as possible.
The prize will only be delivered to a UK address and will only be sent once.
The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
