Syntetica raised $30M in a Series A funding round to scale its nylon recycling platform and bring its technology to industrial production. The round was led by the Ecotechnologies 2 fund, managed on behalf of the French government by Bpifrance, with participation from SWEN Capital Partners, lululemon, MAS Holdings, existing investor EQT Ventures, and the family offices of Peugeot, Etam and Indorama Venture’s largest shareholder. Cofounded by Marco Bertone and Louis Monsigny, Syntetica is developing recycling technology for two types of nylon — Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6 — that can’t easily be sorted out from each other in the textile waste collected from consumers. The product of this recycling process will be pellets, which can then be used by others to make yarn.
EverSettled raised a $5M Seed round led by Emergence Capital to help families across the US navigate estate settlement with far less confusion, cost, and burden. Founded by Arum Kempster and Jacob Effenberger earlier this year, EverSettled is already supporting thousands of families, guiding them through their estate settlement. Their AI-native platform answers the questions keeping people up at night and takes action on their behalf, 24/7, across all 50 states.
Juno Bio just announced the opening of its first sequencing lab built entirely for women’s health. To fuel this stage of growth, the company has raised $3.8M in funding from investors including Ada Ventures, Artesian, and Illumina Accelerator. Cofounded by Hana Janebdar and Leighton Turner, Juno Bio has pioneered a new standard of care for vaginal microbiome health, building one of the largest repositories of vaginal microbiome data and helping thousands of women access more precise testing and treatment. The new lab facility in Oakland, California, marks a major step forward in expanding access to high-quality, clinically relevant microbiome testing.
Rig has raised a $2.8M pre-Seed round led by Emerge VC to unblock companies’ internal data. Founded by Toby Mather and Jacob Langr, Rig is building the Vercel for internal data: a secure set of building blocks to connect company databases to AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, then build apps and agents on top.
Wexler is joining Legora. Founded by Gregory Mostyn and Kush Madlani, Wexler’s software helps lawyers reconstruct cases from thousands of documents. Lawyers can then trace something a witness or another attorney says back to the source and spot where it conflicts with the evidence. The acquisition is a bid to make Legora more useful to trial lawyers. Much of its software has focused on helping lawyers research, review, and draft documents. Wexler brings it closer to the courtroom.
ZeroEntropy joins Notion. Founded by Ghita Houir Alami and Nicholas Pipitone, ZeroEntropy trains state-of-the-art rerankers, embeddings, and custom models for production AI systems; light-weight, blazing fast, and accurate where generalist models aren’t. With this acquisition, the whole team is joining Notion to keep making Notion AI more useful and efficient. All of their models are now fully open-source under Apache 2.0.
Asteroid launched Asteroid Integrate: hundreds of prebuilt integrations to the EHRs, payer portals, and government systems that will never have good APIs. David Mlcoch and Joe Hewett founded Asteroid on the belief that AI should be deployed safely across mission-critical work. Integrate is that belief shipped: agents handling patient scheduling, eligibility checks, benefits enrollment and claims, with a human approving the decisions that carry risk.
