We have no doubt that important startups will be built during these uncertain and unsettling times. During our last economic downturn, some of the world’s most iconic companies were built, including Airbnb, Uber, WhatsApp, Square, Venmo and Slack. With new problems comes a drive to find new solutions, and we’re optimistic about what’s in store for the startup world.
That being said, these are unprecedented times, so we could all do with help. We’ve compiled a list of government grants available in the territories Entrepreneur First and portfolio companies operate – the UK, France, Germany, Canada, USA, Singapore and India. We hope you’ll find this useful.
For those of you who are yet to take the leap into the startup world, but are keen to make an impact, consider joining our programme. We provide a monthly stipend from day one, and you don’t need a team or an idea to apply. We’ll help you meet a co-founder, develop an idea, and build your startup from scratch. You’ll receive support from a global community of founders and will benefit from a valuable network of investors. These are challenging times, but EF exists to remove many of the barriers that founders face – from networks, to traction and financial support.
