A fellowship to support young and talented women to become the most ambitious version of themselves.

At Entrepreneur First, we identify and invest in exceptional individuals to build startups from scratch.

Our team in Paris has supported hundreds of women as they find a cofounder and build a startup. However, women’s representation in tech remains hampered by significant structural barriers which prevent them from having the impact they could be capable of. We have also observed a lot of women internalizing societal constraints which significantly limit their ambition.

That’s why we’re launching the Young Female Leaders Fellowship in Paris, to empower more women to unlock their full potential.

Over the next year, Coralie Chaufour, Partner and General Manager of EF Paris, is committing to coach and mentor 10 exceptional young women, as they navigate their early career.

As a founder you have the opportunity to shape mankind’s future in profound ways. Technology today allows talented and ambitious young people to have an impact on more people than at any time in history – and women need to stake their place in that context.

About Coralie

Throughout my career, I’ve been successful in highly competitive jobs in traditionally male-dominated industries – law, strategy consulting and tech entrepreneurship. I’ve experienced first-hand the knock-on impacts of so few female role models.

After studying at Sciences Po, Wharton and Harvard, I joined Cravath, Swaine & Moore, one of the most prestigious law firms in the world. When I was 26, I founded my own company, and learnt all the mistakes typical of a first-time founder. After closing the company, I joined McKinsey in Paris, believing that this was the most ambitious thing I could do with my career.

In 2018, I met Matt Clifford and Alice Bentinck who cofounded Entrepreneur First in London. Their mission resonated with me deeply and soon after, I launched the Paris office. Since then, I have supported over 500 founders in Paris and helped create companies that are now worth $1 billion combined.

My own setbacks as a founder have instilled in me a commitment to supporting and inspiring young and ambitious individuals, and particularly women, to achieve the outcomes they deserve. Now, I’m excited to launch our Young Female Leaders Fellowship, and support some of the most exceptional young women in France and Europe.
