Fairbrics uses engineered microbes to convert captured CO₂ into polymer precursors. Its process can be integrated into existing chemical plants—enabling brands to produce carbon-negative materials for fashion, packaging, and chemicals.

During his PhD studies at Université Paris-Saclay, Columbia University and working as a researcher at the French Alternative Energies and Atomic Energy Commission (CEA), Tawfiq pioneered the field of CO2 transformation and developed technologies that transform this harmful waste into high-value compounds.
