Mimica

Company Summary
Mimica helps large companies understand how work happens and where to improve it. Its AI-powered platform tracks how employees interact with software, then turns that data into detailed process maps. These maps reveal inefficiencies, highlight opportunities for automation, and guide transformation—without the need for manual time-tracking or lengthy consultancy projects.
The Problem
Most enterprises know they need to improve operations but struggle to identify where to start. Processes are complex, undocumented, and constantly changing. Traditional methods like interviews or time studies are not only slow and expensive, but often inaccurate as well. Without clear insight, automation and transformation projects fail to deliver real ROI.
The Solution
Mimica uses task mining to record how work is actually done. It captures user actions across thousands of desktops and uses machine learning to map processes automatically. The system then recommends which processes to automate, standardizes them for efficiency, and provides blueprints for technologies like robotic process automation (RPA) and generative AI. Companies can move from insight to implementation in weeks, not months.
Funding
In November 2021, Mimica raised $6M in a Series A led by Khosla Ventures. The company previously secured a Seed round from Episode 1 Ventures.
